STUDIO RENTALS & BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The XBa Dance Studio is an open concept, 2800 square foot light industrial warehouse with 18' ceilings. Because of our unique layout, we've been able to host events like Dance Performances, Film Festivals, Art Shows, Documentary Film Shoots, Birthday Parties and multiple Fundraisers.

Our Marley sprung floor was custom-built by Jay Gower-Taylor and the same floor can be found at SFU's School of Contemporary Arts and at The Dance Centre. The studio also features mirrors on 3 walls and a 69x18' black theatre curtain on a rail system.

The studio comes equipped with the following:

- Sprung Marley dance floor

- Moveable Ballet barres

- Mats for Pilates and other floor exercises

- Compatible Sound System

- 2 Washrooms

- 2 Folding Tables

- 20 Folding Chairs

- Mini-fridge

- 2 sets of Stage Lights

STUDIO RENTALS

The minimum requirement is a 4 hour booking. The booking can be done all at once or in four 1 hour weekly sessions.

Rates start at $75 per hour and can be negotiated based on length of initial contract. Fees include use of the entire space, utilities and a cleaning charge.

BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGES

DANCE CLASS PACKAGE - $500

A total of 2 hours with up to 10 participants
1 hour dance class in either Contemporary, Ballet or Hip Hop
1 hour for Cake & Presents
$25 per additional participant to a max of 20

PERFORMANCE PACKAGE - $650

A total of 2.5 hours with up to 10 participants only
1.5 hours of Stage Makeup application, costumes, Contemporary, Ballet or Hip Hop dance class and performance
1 hour for Cake & Presents

Fees include use of the space, cost of the Instructor and a cleaning charge.

An extra 30 minutes can be allocated for decorating and tear-down if needed at no charge.
