Ballet

Ages 3+

with Instructor Miss Skye

Ballet training at XBa is rooted in both the Classical and Vaganova styles.  Students are taught the proper vocabulary and terminology starting in Ballet I for early-age dancers.

Our form of Ballet stresses development of strength, flexibility and endurance needed to maintain a proper dance form and to prevent injuries.

Classes for all ages are offered on Tuesdays.

Hip Hop & Breakdance

Ages 5+

with Instructors Ryan Williams & Yarra Tsiakos

Hip Hop training at XBa encompasses all traditional styles, from its roots in Harlem in the 1970s as a social dance, to old and new school, to locking, popping and waacking.

Breakdance (or Breaking) is an energetic and acrobatic form of Street Dance, typically involving 4 main elements: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes.  Students are taught proper terminology and technique to prevent injuries.  Breakdance has been officially inducted into the Olympics, and will make its debut in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Advanced Hip Hop and Breakdance for experienced dancers are offered on Fridays, and Hip Hop for all ability levels is offered on Saturdays.
